Wednesday walk - 28th September @ 10.00am - Skipwith Common

Start: 10am prompt. Meet in the Car Park on the edge of Skipwith Common at the end of King Rudding Lane. 

 

When travelling on the A19 from York to Selby, King Rudding Lane is a Left-Hand Turn approx 200 yards after the 1st right hand turn into Riccall.  This is a single-track road which you follow for approx 1.5 miles. Parking is just after the Kinsman Activity Centre and by the woodpile.

Level of difficulty: This is a flat walk (approx. 200ft of climb) which takes us through Riccall and along the banks of the Ouse to Barlby, before returning to the car park next to Skipwith Common, 

 

Toilets: Nothing formal

 

Cafe: Thought we could try the Millers Tearooms at Hollicarrs.
