We leave Kirkham Priory and head for the village
of Crambe, cross the railway line and then head for the River Derwent. A short
walk along the river past Howsham Mill
and then over the bridge to Howsham. We then walk through Howsham Wood and back
to Kirkham. There is a little road walking. It might be rather muddy in the
woods.
