Sunday walk: Saxton - Sunday 13 March at 10am

Start: Saxton. Park outside/near The Greyhound pub in the village.

This a gentle walk in a historic part of Yorkshire - home to the battle of Towton and Cock Beck - the bloodiest stream in Britain's history!

The walk starts out from Towton along Cock Beck, then walks through the grounds of Hazelwood Castle, plus another look at Lead Chapel.

We will finish the walk in Tow ton with a visit to the tiny Greyhound pub.
