Sunday walk: 9 September - Hutton-le-Hole and Ryedale villages

Start: 10am prompt

Meet at North York Moors National Park Authority's car park in 
Hutton-le-Hole (There is a fee for parking). From York, enter the village, drive to the end and take right hand turn out of village, car park on your right.

Distance: 7 miles

Time: 4 hours

Difficulty: Easy/moderate

Toilets: Hutton-le-Hole car park

Refreshments: Tea rooms in Hutton-le-Hole, pubs in Hutton-le-Hole, 
Appleton-le-Moors and Lastingham

The walk covers three Ryedale villages (Hutton-le-Hole, 
Appleton-le-Moors and Lastingham) across the foothills of the North York 
Moors. The route goes along centuries-old tracks, linked by quiet field 
paths. The churches at Lastingham and Appleton-le-Moors are well worth a 
visit.
