Start and parking: Along village streets in Newton-on-Rawcliffe. Take the minor road out of Pickering that passes by the railway station and it is the first village you come to.

This is a lovely easyish walk with 2 ascents and descents. We walk down to the North Yorkshire railway, cross it, then to Levisham and then past the lovely old church down into Newton Dale and walk along it back to the start. There is a little road walking around Levisham, otherwise on good paths and tracks.
