Hutton-le-Hole and Lastingham - Sunday 13 October 2013

Walk Leader: Anders Ekstrand (Mobile: 07923516499)

Start: Hutton-le-Hole, main car park at the top of the village, at 10:00 am. Anders will be at Bannatyne’s gym at 9 am if anyone wants a lift.

Distance: Approx 7 miles.

Level of difficulty: Easy circular walk.

Approx Time: 3,5 hours

Refreshments/Toilets: Pubs and toilets in Hutton-le-Hole and Lastingham.

General description: Two picturesque villages and a church with a unique crypt are some of the interesting features on this relatively easy walk. Much of it lies along field paths and tracks on the southern edge of the moors amidst the Tabular Hills. However, it is still a walk of great scenic variety, with the bleak and open moor land to the north contrasting with the flatter and lusher landscape of the Vale of Pickering to the south.
Plenty of choice of tea places or pubs!

Looking forward to seeing you!
