Numbers have been low for the last couple of Tuesday walks so can you please let me know if you are coming by either e-mailing me or use the Eventbrite link below. If no-one lets me know they are going then I won't be there. Last-minute decisions are fine. I will do a final check at 8.30 am on the Tuesday before I leave)

Sunday's walk - Levisham (North York Moors) - 8th August @ 10.00am

Start: 10am prompt - meet at the top of the village near the pub. Give yourself sufficient travelling time as Levisham is a good 10 mins off the Pickering to Whitby Road. And don't forget the weekend traffic on the A64!

Parking: Roadside parking.

Postcode for satnav: YO18 7NL

Distance: Approx 8.5 miles

Level of difficulty: Paths are generally good but there are 3 longish climbs - the last one being the climb up the 1 in 5 road back into Levisham.

Cafe: The cafe in Lockton is open until 4pm

This walk leaves Levisham and goes up to the start of the Moors where there is a good view of the Hole of Horcum. It then heads down to Levisham Station and north along Newton Dale before climbing up the side of Raindale Beck where we will join the Tabular Hills Walk Path. This path leads back to Levisham.
