Midweek walk: Sheriff Hutton - Tuesday 30 March

Start: 10am prompt


Meeting point: Sheriff Hutton, crossroads near Quarmby's Deli and Cafe.

Time: 4 hours

Level of difficulty: Easy

Facilities: cafe may be open for takeaways

This lovely walk takes in the ruins of the castle in Sheriff Hutton before heading across fields to the medieval village of East Lilling, Thornton-le-Clay, and Stittenham Wood, before returning past the Motte and Bailey castle and graveyard in Sheriff Hutton.
