Meeting point: Parking roadside at Hawnby church - to be found 1/2 mile west of the village on the Kepwick Road. Hawnby is 6 mile north of Helmsley.

A popular area for Mike, the walk takes you round Coomb Hill to Arden Hall. Through Anya Wood onto Hawnby Moor and finish with the ridge walk of Hawnby Hills - great views!

The Corpse Road - Tuesday 20 September

Meeting point: Village centre, Osmotherley

Level of difficulty: Moderate (a few short steep climbs)

This walk strides out towards and follows part of the Corpse Road or Lyke Wake Walk with views towards Roseberry Topping, before heading over Scarth Wood Moor. There are numerous opportunities for great views over Moorland towards Teesdale in the north and the Vale of York to the south.
