Following the Ebor Way we walk west to the small hamlet of Cawton where we turn north towards Stonegrave and Caulkeys Bank. Walking on the bank we will have a wonderful view, if the weather is good, of the valley and Hovingham. We continue along a small forest towards Caulkeys Grange where we turn south and walk over some fields back to Hovingham.
There is a nice tea room, bakery and pub in Hovongham to enjoy after the walk.
