Sunday walk: Burton Leonard - Sunday 13 September

Start: 10am - Burton Leonard - meet on grass opposite post office

Distance: 8 miles

Level of difficulty: Easy/moderate (two steady climbs)

Refreshments: Royal Oak pub or tea room at Minskip Farm

The walk leaves Burton Leonard to South Stainley on to Ripon Rowel walk then back to Brearton before heading back to Burton Leonard.

Tuesday 25th August Walk - Huby - 10:00am - cancelled due to poor weather

Start: High Street, Huby - near to the village shop

Parking: Plenty of parking on the High Street

Distance: 8.5 miles

Terrain: Very flat, on farm tracks, roads & country footpaths

Toilets: Not aware of any

Cafe: Not aware of any that are open

Start: 10am meet in car park on Main Street, Ripley

Leaders: Clive and David

Distance: 8.2 miles

Level of difficulty: Moderate

Time: 4.5 hours

Refreshments: Boards Head, Ripley, ice cream parlour or cafe

Toilets: in car park

Clive and David have been coy about providing a description of the walk, but I'm guessing it will involve walking out from the town centre before returning to where we started...
