Nine walkers joined this enjoyable walk around Millington.
Millington is a small village 3 miles north-east of Pocklington and the Woods car park is a further half mile north east of the village. It is an 8 mile walk with one steep-ish climb near the start and then the rest of the walk is typical undulating Wolds country.

Charity walk at Castle Howard - Sunday 20th June 2010
You may be interested in a forthcoming charity walk in aid of New Futures Nepal.
The walk will take place on Sunday 20th June - there are three to choose from for varying abilities: 2, 5 or 15 miles.
Last year, the Ghurka's cooked a curry on site, another good reason for attending if raising money for orphanages in Nepal is not a good enough reason.

Rosedale, Sunday 13th June
Mainly gentle undulations with the exception of one steady climb.
The walk will include part along the disused ironstone railway.
There is a good cafe half way round, with a good cafe at the end in Rosedale.
