Start: 10am prompt. Park in the lay-by on the main B1222 Bishopdyke road. This is quite a large lay-by away from the houses and just outside the Cawood village boundary.  It was formerly the recycling bin site.

Start: 10am prompt.  Park on the main street in Thixendale near the Cross Keys Inn.

The exact route of the walk will depend on conditions but it will be around 8 to 8.5 miles.

Given the recent rains, I can confidently say that it will be muddy in places, no matter what route we walk!

Sunday walk: Church Fenton - 12 March

Start: 10am prompt.  Approaching Church Fenton from Barkston Ash, there is a left hand turn just before the railway bridge (you will see a sign for Church Fenton Railway Station). There is ample parking on this road which is the start of the walk. Meet here. There is alternative parking over the railway bridge and in the station car park.
